Quantec Research (Pty) Ltd is a South African based consultancy. We focus on the marketing, distribution and support of economic and financial data, country intelligence and quantitative analytical software. We also provide consultancy in custom economic and financial database solutions, economic analysis and forecasting, and market analysis and segmentation.

In order to provide unique solutions we are affiliated with The Economist Intelligence Unit, Stata Corporation, QMS (EViews), Oxmetrics and Beyond 20/20 as their local representatives and partners.

Data

We maintain and distribute a comprehensive set of data collections covering macro and regional socio-economic, industry and international trade data. EasyData, our Internet based software and delivery system provides easy-to-use navigation, analytical tools, and presentation capabilities. EasyData enables you to find relevant information, explore its implications and convey results speedily. All information is organised hierarchically in separate databases that can be accessed individually or treated as a comprehensive collection.

Intelligence

Partnered with the Economist Intelligence Unit, Quantec provides a constant flow of analysis and forecasts on more than 200 countries and eight key industries. We help executives make informed business decisions through dependable intelligence delivered online over the Internet, in customised research as well as through conferences and peer interchange.

Software

Quantec has been delivering analytical software and data publishing solutions to the educational, public sector and corporate markets since 1990. Our software product range focuses on statistical and econometric analysis, forecasting, risk modelling and data utilities. We combine innovative software and data expertise to provide practical and scalable solutions to our customers.
