The monthly All-share Index return amounted to –0.03% in December after a 1.4% rise in November 2014. Of the major JSE sectors, seven were positive (some only marginally so) and two showed negative month-on-month returns. Consumer services and Healthcare fared the best with returns of 2.8% m/m and 2.9% m/m respectively. The worst performing sectors were Resources and Oil & Gas with returns of -4.3% m/m and –6.3% m/m respectively.
