Latest data for September 2017 show that conditions retain a slight tightening bias. Compared with a year ago, the FCI is up by 1.7% y/y. Five of the six constituent variables have tightened since the start of 2017, while the overall indicator was higher, on average, by 9.6% compared with January 2016.
