"Ramaphoria" risks to be a short-lived phenomenon in view of the potentially negative impact that land confiscation at will could have on economic growth, investment, development and rule of law. It would appear that Ramaphosa, who has yet to consolidate his power base, may be unwillingly caught in this irrational wave of populism which has grabbed hold of a power-drunk ANC, and who has hijacked EFF policies to ensure they remain in power at all costs.
