Measured at a seasonally adjusted basis, the rand value of exports decreased by -3.4% month-on-month in April 2018. Measured at a 3 months annualised basis, exports were 7.0% lower, while export growth over the past 12 months amounted to 6.4%. In dollar terms, exports were down 5.2% on a month ago but 0.9% lower measured at a 3-months annualised basis. Exports in dollar terms were 15.0% higher measured at a 12-months basis.
