Real household disposable income growth has been trending down since 2011 when it reached 4.7%. In 2016 it reached 1.9%, but picked up to 2.7% in 2017. Real household disposable income per capita grew by, on average, 0.9% p.a. over the five years to 2017. Real household disposable income is expected to grow by 1.9% in 2018, rising to 3% by 2022.
