Latest data up to end-July 2022, show that financial conditions have tightened marginally compared with the prior month, with the index riding by 1.7%. The average value of the FCI over the past 12 months was still slightly down, by 0.3% compared with the average for the previous 12 months. However, comparing only the month of July 2022 with July 2021, the FCI was still down sharply by 6.1% y/y.
