The EasyData team at Quantec has expanded the Economic Impact Analysis Service to include new company economic footprint capabilities. This enhancement allows us to provide your company with a comprehensive overview of its economic impact on the South African economy.
The Company Economic Footprint Service offers an estimation of your company's total contribution to the South African Gross Domestic Product (GDP), as well as the company’s contribution to the GDP of its operating industries. Additionally, the service includes economic multipliers, which offer valuable insights into your company's impact on various facets of the economy, such as remuneration, gross operating surplus, job creation, and GDP.
As part of the launch of the Company Economic Footprint Service, Quantec has conducted preliminary estimations for several publicly listed companies in South Africa. To give you an idea of what to expect, we provide a summarised sample report for Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd and Transnet SOC Ltd, based on publicly available annual financial statements.

These reports can be expanded to provide more detailed insights, including direct, indirect (supplier value-chain), and induced (household spending) impacts, given additional and current company data inputs. The separate components of these reports can also be made available, which can be added to the reports published by the company. Moreover, we offer flexibility in report customisation.
